FUNDRAISERS in Spalding could have shown style guru Gok Wan a thing or two after attending a charity fashion evening.

A “what to wear” evening was held at Bookmark in The Crescent to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

It was organised by the Spalding and Holbeach committee of the charity and more than £772 was raised.

More than 60 women enjoyed supper and a “fashion fix” by Elaine Tunnard, of Sheila Tiller ladieswear in Long Sutton.

Elaine took along several outfits and accessories and explained what to wear and how best to style it to help the ladies dress to impress.

Organiser Val James said the evening was very successful and everyone found the tips on how to accessorise their outfits really useful.
