A Bourne Family and Local Heritage day is being held at the town’s Corn Exchange on Saturday between 10am and 3pm.

The day will offer the residents of Bourne and surrounding villages the opportunity to find out more about local history, heritage and family history in the Bourne area.

The Bourne Civic Society and Bourne Preservation Trust will also be attending the event.

Alan Stennett, who broadcasts on farming matters on BBC Radio Lincolnshire and has written a number of local history books, will also be attending.

There will be local and family history displays and also helpdesks for those who may be researching their family trees or wish to.
