RESIDENTS and friends of Southernwood House in Spalding had a fun time at a garden fair – and, for the residents, the fun will linger on.
Proceeds from the day will help buy a new sound system and projector for their cinema afternoons as well as fund indoor games and trips.
Manager Toni Barwell said staff also took part in a five mile walk to boost the residents’ comforts fund.
The fair was organised by staff member Michelle Wetherill and attractions included a bouncy castle, a visit by owls from Hoots R Us and traditional games.
She said: “It was a lovely day for residents, their families and friends.”
As well as raising money for residents, the home used the occasion to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
