AN APPLICATION for an energy production and recycling park in Crowland will be considered by county councillors for a second time on Monday.
Organic Recycling Ltd has submitted plans to build the park at Decoy Farm on Postland Road.
If given planning permission, it will include an in-vessel composting and anaerobic digestion facility, a biomass boiler and a waste water treatment plant.
Last month, members of Lincolnshire County Council’s planning and regulation committee said they were “minded to approve” the application, despite planning officers recommending the plans be refused.
Officers said the location of the “large-scale” development was not considered acceptable.
Councillors deferred the application to allow officers to prepare a series of conditions to accompany the plans, should it be approved at Monday’s meeting.
