The work of IDBs to manage water levels and reduce flood risk in south Lincolnshire is the topic of the talk at South Holland Growers’ Club at Whaplode Manor on Monday (7.30pm).

Welland & Deepings Internal Drainage Board operations engineer Nick Morris is the speaker.

Nick is due to examine the events that led to last year’s disastrous flooding of farmland in the south west and give more details on the East Coast tidal surge that threatened local farmland.
