Have your say

Many farmers have a particular love of nature and wildlife because of the work they do out of doors.

Grower Andrew Dennis, of Woodlands Organic Farm at Kirton, is giving others the chance to share an appreciation of new life on the farm with a Poetry and Drawing Day.

It’s on Saturday, April 12 (11am to 2pm) and its theme is Spring. People are invited to take along a poem to read (or just listen), draw with Rosie Redzia, and enjoy a relaxing stroll around the farm trail with Andrew.

The event is open to over 16s only and costs £7.50 per head – which will include delicious home-made soup, tea, coffee and cake.

Contact the organisers to let them know you are going on 01205 724778 or 07939 475499 or email rachel@woodlandsfarm.co.uk

Visit woodlandsfarm.co.uk for directions to the event – everyone will meet in the Art Barn at Woodlands Farm.
