Doubleday is celebrating the opening of its brand new purpose built depot at Swineshead.

The business is proud to supply and service agricultural machinery from many of the leading manufacturers including John Deere and Vaderstad to name just a couple.

Doubleday, a family business operating since the early ’70s, prides itself on its unrivalled customer service.

Zoe Doubleday-Collishaw, third generation and director of the business explains: “Being farmers ourselves we like to think we understand what the customer needs and expects from their dealer. Uptime is critical, but machines inevitably fail at some point and it is our response to the failure that is paramount. We understand the importance of keeping the farming operation running and will always strive to get the customer’s machine running as quickly as possible. If this is not possible, we provide a stand-in machine to ensure minimal disruption.”

Beginning with a branch at Holbeach St Johns, the company has continued to grow over the years with the additional depots of Bourne in 1988, King’s Lynn in 1999 and now Swineshead.

Although predominantly known as an agricultural machinery business, Doubleday also supplies and services the popular John Deere lawn and garden machinery. The Doubleday back-up is second to none, its parts and service systems for the home gardener seen as just as important as the needs of the agricultural customer.

Experience and discover what Doubleday can offer at its celebratory open days at Swineshead on Friday and Saturday, May 30 and 31.
