New figures just released show that major retailers are stocking a higher proportion of British beef and lamb on the shelf than this time last year.

Aldi, Budgens, Morrisons and Waitrose have all come in for praise from the NFU for their commitment to British produce, as shown in figures released by EBLEX.

In the latest survey, 100 per cent of the beef and lamb on shelves was British. Additionally, the Co-operative, Lidl and Marks and Spencer all demonstrated a strong commitment in beef.
