Controversial plans to nearly double the glasshouse space at a Moulton Chapel nursery have been given the go-ahead.
In January ward member Coun Rodney Grocock feared the glasshouses at Lucksbridge Nurseries would be “lit up like the Crystal Palace” and said some bays were too close to homes.

The company has dropped the height of the three bays nearest to homes from 5m to 4m and the council has imposed conditions on lighting.
Coun Grocock told Wednesday’s planning committee: “Residents are I would not say happy with the situation but will accept the situation.”
Fellow ward member Coun Anthony Casson said: “It’s a lot better than it was before but it could be better still.”
