A council worker helping to keep the streets of Market Deeping and Deeping St James clean has been rewarded with a top community prize.
Robin Storey, a waste and recycling operative with South Kesteven District Council, won the Outstanding and Dedicated Service to the Community Award for June.
The award was presented to Robin, who has been a council worker in the area for seven years, by Deeping St James Parish Council chairman Andy Pelling and Chris Halley from Priory Church Deeping St James.
Coun Pelling said: “Robin goes above and beyond his day-to-day duties to ensure the streets and neighbourhoods of Market Deeping and Deeping St James are clean and tidy.
“He’s always do friendly and people in the community pointed out to us how he carries out his work in such a thorough manner, regardless of the weathe.
“That’s why he was a worthy winner of the award.”
