Volunteers had flower power behind when they toured Spalding at the weekend armed with rubbish bags.
Members of the Chamber of Trade and Rotary Club were collecting litter to prepare for Saturday’s Spalding Flower Parade.
Pete Williams, landlord of the Punchbowl and Hole in the Wall pubs, said the team of six was out for a couple of hours.
He said: “We filled a fair few bags, but I was genuinely surprised at how clean and tidy the town was.”
