Hundreds of people flocked into Spalding this evening for the Spalding Pumpkin Parade.

The town had been buzzing all day, with shoppers and workers making the most of special food on offer, such as pumkin and pork curry and pumpkin pancakes.

In the Sheepmarket, The Courgettes had everyone rocking before the live music started on the stage in the Market Place, featuring Vibe Youth Choir, Bourne Borderers and Radius 45.

There was pumpkin carving and a variety of charity stalls with cakes on sale and games to play.

Down The Crescent, children were peering in windows trying to find animals hidden among pumpkins in a competition run by the traders.

And there were real creatures too - with bats taken along by the Lincolnshire Bat Group, owls with the Owl Conservation Society and hedgehogs with Ruskington Wildlife.

Everyone is now gathering in front of the South Holland Centre for the spectacular fireworks finale.
