A seven-year-old Crowland girl is having her hair cut off on Wednesday for charity in memory of “her daddy in heaven”, who died aged 40 of pancreatic cancer.
Ellie Coupland has been growing her hair since November and it is now long enough to be cut off to make a wig for a child having chemotherapy.
So far she has raised £300 for Stamford Hospital’s John van Geest ward, which serves the Crowland area and is where her father was treated .
