Another student to achieve amazing GCSE results at the University Academy Holbeach was 16-year-old Louise Barber.

Louise left the academy on Thursday morning with seven A*s and four As.

She will now take A-levels in biology, physics, maths and history, and told the Free Press: “I am really pleased.

“I worked really hard. I kind of thought I would do well but then, waiting for the results, I kept doubting myself.

Louise, who will take her A-levels at The King’s School in Peterborough, is hoping to progress into a career in specialist nursing with children with complex medical needs.
