ECO-WARRIORS are delighted after cash from their green initiatives paid for three new willow domes at their school.
The eco team at Long Sutton Primary School used cash it had been given from its environmental work and solar panels to buy the eco-domes for use as outside classrooms.
The warrior team, made up of representatives from each year group, meet once a fortnight to look at ways of making the schools more environmentally friendly.
Eco School Co-ordinator Sarah Stewart said: “They decided to buy these domes and they were planted by parents and volunteers from Long Sutton in Bloom.
“All of the students are really pleased with them and they are out there at every opportunity.”
The domes, which were officially opened with a party, can be used for classes across the school’s curriculum, including reading sessions, art and religious education.
