YOUNGSTERS yanked on their wellies and raised £150 for their pre-school.
Children from Long Sutton’s Cinder Ash Pre-School took part in a sponsored Welly Walk to raise cash for improvements to the pre-school’s outdoor play area.
The children walked in their wellies for about a mile around Cinder Ash Park and raised £150 to go towards the planned renovations.
When the children returned from their walk, they were able to get up close and personal with a tractor, courtesy of farmer James Hoyles.
Sally Hoyles, of Cinder Ash Pre-school said: “The children had great fun playing on the tractor.
“Parents were able to pop in and enjoy some tea and cakes to help raise a little extra money for the cause.
“The event was a real success.”
