Spalding food manufacturer Bakkavor opened its doors o 20 students from University Academy Holbeach on Monday in support of National Apprenticeship Week.
The business highlighted the diverse and exciting career opportunities available to young people through its successful apprenticeship scheme.
The students were also given factory tours to show them the food production process.
Bakkavor has extra reason to celebrate this week, as one of its workers has become England’s 2,000th food industry apprentice of 2014 to successfully complete the course. Tasha Devey completed her IPQ Level Three Food Industry Skills diploma and is looking forward to building her career within the company.
