The Google Expedition Team visited St John the Baptist School in Spalding on Thursday.
Children from Years 1 to 6 took part in various exciting activities as they ‘toured the world’.
Years 1 and 2 used iPads for their tours and the older ones will used the Google cardboard viewer.
They took virtual field trips using a collection of virtual reality panoramas, such as 360 degree photo spheres, 3D images, video and ambient sounds.
“This programme enabled the children to go on a virtual trip to places all over the world,” a school spokesman told the Guardian.
“They explored cities and museums, went deep down in the oceans and up the highest mountains, investigating outer space and inside the human body.”
