Lots of great sportsmanship, determination and respect was shown by all the girls plus some excellent batting and fielding displays.

In the first game St John’s beat Monkshouse by just two runs and then they sealed victory by beating Bourne by 55 runs.

This meant the Bourne v Monkshose clash was for second place, with Monkshouse winning by 19 runs.

On the same day, Year 6 mixed teams from Moulton John Harrox andLong Sutton met for a play-off, having won their own regional competitions.

Moulton batted exceptionally well then bowled brilliantly to beat a battling Sutton team.

St John’s girls and Moulton John Harrox will now play against the other areas of Lincolnshire at the end of June.
