CHILDREN at a Spalding primary school have produced a radio news programme discussing global warming and deforestation as part of a Have I Got News For You project.

Mike Cartwright, from a company called Soundschool, helped the children from St Paul’s School record their programme and handed over a CD of the completed project to the pupils in years three and four.

The programme will now be uploaded to the school’s website for everyone to listen to.

The school has also won a Silver Eco Award for its work on sustainability, led by a team of Eco Rangers.

Pupils and set up a committee to take the school’s eco work forward.
