Members of the Old Spaldonian and Moultonian Association (OSMA) gathered for their annual celebration of Spalding Grammar School on Friday.
About 28 people enjoyed a dinner and heard speeches from OSMA members and current headmaster Nigel Ryan.
The social part of the evening followed the annual meeting at which the former association president Sam Elkin handed over to Steve Aluzzi.
Sam said the number of people who attended was “a little bit disappointing” but added that his successor had plans for using social media to encourage more people to become actively involved in the association.
He explained OSMA, for old pupils and teachers of Spalding Grammar School and the original school at Moulton, is a networking group which also holds social events. It also funds an overseas trip for grammar school pupils through the Gainsborough Award. Last year’s head boy Kamil Aziz and Ernestas Jackevic won in 2014.
