A mixed year group cast from Kirkstone House School in Baston took the Key Theatre in Peterborough by storm with a production of the The Tempest, as part of the annual Shakespeare Schools Festival - the largest youth theatre event in the country. The cast members also enjoyed workshops with professional actors and producers along the way. Richard Jones, Head of Drama, said: “The project has certainly helped the pupils’ understanding of the text which is often studied in English lessons, and has certainly unearthed acting and theatre career ambitions amongst more than a few of them. Congratulations are due to all concerned.”
