Youngsters from the William Stukeley Church of England Primary School treated fellow pupils to a performance of a special wartime play.
The children from the Holbeach school have been in rehearsals for the performances of the play for just over three weeks.
The play is named Edith’s Wartime Scrapbook and is a re-telling of life for a child during World War Two.
More than 80 children from years 4, 5 and 6 took part in the performance and will do so again for parents later in the week.
Claire Underwood, assistant headteacher at the school, said: “The children have been learning all about World War Two this term, so we were able to link the play in with that topic.
“We’ve not had a lot of time to rehearse, but the children have worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks and we are all incredibly proud of each and every one of them.”
