PUPILS from more than half a dozen primary schools showed off their gymnastics skills in a competition.

The Key Steps event was organised by Holbeach and Fenland Gymastics Club based in Long Sutton and gave youngsters aged five to 11 the chance to show their vaulting talents as well as put on a short floor display.

Certificates were given to all those who took part, as well as medals for first, second and third places.

Alison Buddle, executive head for Gedney Hill and Sheapeau Stow primary schools, said: “It is good to have links with the gymastics club and it was a well run event.”
