CHILDREN at a kids’ club in Pinchbeck thought Christmas had come early when boxes of toys started arriving.

The toys have been bought by Pinchbeck Kids’ Club with a £1,500 grant from Lincolnshire County Council.

Supervisor Emma McKey said: “The funding has enabled us to replace a lot of the old toys and buy new outside equipment.

”It has helped us to enrich the children’s environment and made them excited about being at the kids’ club again.”

Among the new toys are a giant Connect 4, a waterway and bug hunting equipment, as well as new pens and pencils.

The club, based in the pavilion at Pinchbeck Primary School, caters four to 11-year-olds at breakfast, after school and in the holidays. For details, call 07876 496259.
