THREE students from Spalding High School earned top awards from the London Academy of Music and Drama (LAMDA) for solo acting performances.

Grade 8 is the absolute pinnacle and Domenique Fragale, Chloe Jaynes and Charlotte Smith passed their examinations with flying colours – Domenique and Charlotte earned distinctions and Chloe a merit.

The girls were coached by Ian Mann, a former director of drama at Oakham School.

As well as having medals to show for their achievements, the sixth formers will gain UCAS points, which count towards university places if they choose higher education.
