A firm supplying hot meals to schools helped youngsters in the Spalding area mark Mother’s Day in style.

Along with their meal deliveries Willoughby Foods, of Wyberton, brought along daffodils for pupils to give to their mums.

They gave around 100 bunches to Wygate Academy youngsters on Friday, the day they were having a Mother’s day lunch and inviting mums to join them.

In all, Willoughby Foods gave some 5,000 bunches of daffodils to local schools, including Ayscoughfee Hall Spalding, Holbeach Primary, William Stukeley Holbeach, Gosberton, Donington Cowley, Bicker Prep and Long Sutton.
