Fears for bungalow if school expands

Councillors have had their say on plans to expand St Mary’s Primary School in Swineshead by 28 places.

Lincolnshire County Council has appointed Mouchel to look at an extension to the hall that will create a new classroom space, resource area and revamped boys’ toilets.

It would create four new jobs and the new hall could be used by the local community.

Boston Borough Council submitted no objections to the plans, but raised some concern about the effect the extension would have on a neighbouring bungalow.
