Alice bands were out and Alice in Wonderland was in vogue when students from Spalding’s South Holland Post 16 Centre put on a fabulous show.

The hair show incorporated themes including the storybook classic Alice, avant-garde, contemporary and classic.

Sarah Scott, from the centre, said: “The students had spent many hours planning and rehearsing with their models showing they were able to meet deadlines as their stunning creations took to the stage.

“The delighted audience were also treated to a performance by the BTEC performing arts students.”

First place in the level 3 VRQ (vocationally related qualification) went to Olivia Bramwell Royal while Sarah Grogan won the level 3 NVQ section.

Prizes were presented by headteacher Janet Daniels.
