Exam success by Bourne students praised by MP

Students at Bourne Academy and Bourne Grammar School have earned praise for their outstanding A-level and GCSE results from Nick Boles MP.

Bourne Academy achieved a best-ever A-level pass rate of 99.5 per cent, while at least 65 per cent of students achiveed five or more GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and maths.

Bourne Grammar School also achieved a 99.5 per cent pass rate at A-level, while 83 per cent of GCSE students achieved grades of A*, A or B, the second-best results in the school’s history.

Mr Boles, whose Grantham and Stamford constituency includes Bourne, said: “The students at both Bourne Academy and Bourne Grammar School deserve many congratulations on a very strong set of results.

“Families in Bourne are especially lucky to have two great schools to choose from.”
