STUDENTS at Spalding’s Sir John Gleed School have rocked their way to the top in a dance competition
The pupils from Year 7 through to Year 11, along with students from the performing arts section of the Post 16 Centre, danced their hearts out to beat two other Lincolnshire schools to the title.
More than 60 toe tapping teens made their way to Skegness to compete in the competition where they were required to tell a story within eight minutes.
Students performed Postcards from Heaven and not only won but also came home with 13 awards for their performance.
They will now take part in the National Open Final in Grimsby on June 21.
Teacher Georgina Cross, said: “It was a fantastic day for all involved.
“When we found out we’d won it was a fantastic feeling and the students went wild.”
