PUPILS danced the night away at a school prom to end an action-packed week of activities at Spalding’s Priory School.

The year 11 girls and boys dressed in their best to enjoy a disco and buffet at the school on Monday.

The group were also joined by seven pupils from The Garth School and staff members.

Headteacher Daran Bland said: “It’s their opportunity to experience and have fun at a prom while in a safe and secure place.

“They are a brilliant year group.”

Mr Bland also thanked teaching assistant Kim Huseyin, who he described as the “driving force” behind the evening.

Last week, half of the year group visited a school in Spain, while the rest enjoyed watersports activities and a visit to Long Sutton Butterfly and Wildlife Park.

This week, Priory pupils will be showing off some of their work at Lincolnshire Show.
