LONG Sutton’s Peele Community College is even better now, according to a new teacher who is returning after 17 years.

Ian Bradley is one of six new members of staff at the college.

Mr Bradley, who will be teaching science and maths, is returning to teaching after working in energy for 10 years.

He said: “Peele was good when I left, but it’s even better now.”

Other new teachers are Jill Redpath (maths), Jane Sutton (foreign languages), Micarla McCoy (humanities), Charlotte Turner (science) and Gillian Peacock (English).

Acting head Simon Gilman said: “I am delighted to welcome these new teachers. This will increase our chances next year after the summer’s excellent GCSE results.”
