BUDDING horticulturists at St Norbert’s School, Spalding are thrilled to have won first prize in a hyacinth growing contest, beating 21 other primary schools.

Weston Hills Primary pupils Thomas Doughty, Rebecca Ogun, Owen Pickles, Ashley Hughes, Lara Pavitt and Chrlotte Issitt take part in the maths challenges.

School raises more than £1,300 for children’s charity

PUPILS from Whaplode Primary School pulled out the stops at a sponsored keep fit session and raised a very healthy £1,331.76 for the children’s charity, the NSPCC.
