EDNA Morton celebrated her 100th birthday with a party for family and friends at her home in Moulton.
Edna moved to South Holland more than 30 years ago from Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, where she ran a shop for many years with her late husband, Harold.
Her daughter, Patricia Crossland, said Edna had lived a very active life.
Her first job was hand-dipping chocolates and while in her 80s she helped out in Patricia’s business by picking mushrooms.
Mrs Crossland said her mum enjoys an occasional sherry with her and likes a whisky as a Sunday treat with her grandson, Richard.
As well as her daughter, Edna has family including two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
One of Edna’s birthday treats was a telegram from the Queen, which she is pictured holding (left).
