Arts, crafts and cooking were on the menu over Easter at Spalding Youth Centre where a holiday club kept youngsters busy during the school break.

About 40 children aged four to eleven had a choice of activities to enjoy such as cooking chocolate muffins, making bird feeders and testing their nerve in an Easter egg hunt.

Centre manager Helen Wright said: “We have a new holiday club which is run from the youth centre by a charity that puts it on during every single school holiday, except Christmas.

“The parents were very happy with the holiday club over Easter, the children had a great time and they made new friends.”
