NEARLY 100 pieces of art have gone on display to the public this week.
Amateur and professional artists from across the district were invited to submit their work for the 12th annual South Holland Open Arts Exhibition.
A panel of judges shortlisted 93 pieces of art from a record 265 entries. These are on show at the South Holland Centre in Spalding until Tuesday.
The exhibition is free and visitors can vote for their favourite piece.
Work includes a range of media – 3D, photography/digital, oil, pencil, pastel, watercolour, acrylic and gouache.
District councillor Nick Worth said: “It was absolutely fantastic to get a record number of entries. The standard of entries has, as ever, been of high quality, making it very difficult for the judges to select the shortlist.”
