MAD meet in the chapel for an hour of music and drama tomorrow at 7pm. The group has recently introduced a new Singing the Faith songbook with new and old songs, and lots of new words to old tunes, and some completely new ones.
SATURDAY Strollers will be walking from Greatford on Saturday for an approximate five mile walk.
Meet at the former St Guthlac School by 10.25am to share transport if needed.
Please bring a picnic lunch and clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions on the day remembering that it could be muddy.
SATURDAYS from 10am there is a welcome to the Methodist Chapel for tea, coffee and biscuits, and chat and laughter.

FLINDERS Founders are holding a Halloween party tomorrow at the community centre, 6-9pm.
FENLAND Flywheelers’ next meeting on Wednesday, November 6, will have the subject of ‘Bandages to rotor blades’ with the evening’s topic highlighting the activities and behind the scenes workings of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
The event will be held in the function suite of the United Services Club in Church Street, Holbeach.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start and is free to anybody who wishes to attend, with light refreshments available and a raffle.

Holbeach St Marks
ROYAL British Legion Remembrance Service on November 10 will take place in the parish church at 2.45pm with Holbeach Town Band in attendance.
The county Poppy Appeal launch takes place at East Kirkby Aviation Heritage Centre on Saturday at 11.15am.
The Poppy Appeal is short of helpers to carry out house to house collections in the village.

ROYAL British Legion annual meeting will be held at their West Street premises on Tuesday at 8pm.
REMEMBRANCE parade will be held on Sunday, November 10, in St Mary’s Church at 2.30pm. The speaker will be Dr Peter Gorton. There will also be a small ceremony at the war memorial on Armistice Day, Monday, November 11, at 11am.
THERE will be a fashion show by Baytree Nurseries Garden Centre at the youth and community centre on Friday, November 1, at 7pm in aid of village hall funds. Entry is £2 and £1 for those 16 and under. Please come along and support this new event.
PROBUS Club of Spalding will meet at the South Holland Centre on November 6, 12.15pm for 12.45pm sitting.
The speaker will be Brenda Harper from the National Trust, and her subject will be ‘Putting the house in order.

ON Sunday, November 3, at 4.30pm a Memorial Service is being held for all those who have lost relations or friends, and would like to remember them. Lists for writing those to be remembered are in Weston Post Office and at the back of the church. Everyone welcome.

ON November 10, Remembrance Sunday, meet at the church lynchgate (war memorial) at 11.50am for the Act of Remembrance followed by a Remembrance Service in church.
A CHRISTMAS tree festival will be taking place in church on the weekends of December 14-15 and 21-22.
