Crowland: Saturday Strollers will be walking from Stamford, taking in Wothorpe and Easton-on-the-Hill on Saturday.
The walk is six-seven miles. Please meet at the former St Guthlac School at 10.25am to share transport if required. Bring a picnic lunch and wear clothes and shoes suitable for the weather conditions. Please be aware that some walks may be muddy.

WOMEN’S Friendship League meets next Thursday, November 1, 7.30pm, at the United Reformed Church Hall, Pinchbeck Road. The speaker, Chris Smith, will show slides and talk about ‘The big country’. THERE is no Thirsty on a Thursday today at St Bartholomew’s. It will recommence next week, November 1, 9.30-11am with the monthly Eucharist Service at 10am. All welcome.
MONTHLY coffee morning is this Saturday in St Bartholomew’s Church, 10am-noon. Refreshments, cakes, bring and buy, books. Come along and buy your Christmas cards and gifts etc. There will also be a stall from the Olive Tree Christian Resource Centre at Old Bolingbroke, together with Fair Trade goods. A parish councillor will be in attendance if there is anything you wish to discuss.
FIREWORKS and bonfire will be held at West Pinchbeck Village Hall on Monday, November 5. The bonfire will be lit about 6pm, fireworks start 6.30pm. Bring your own fireworks, which must be handed to the organisers. Refreshments, including hot dogs, burgers, jacket potatoes, mulled wine and cakes etc will be available. There will also be a raffle. All welcome.
