NEIGHBOURHOOD Police Panel meeting will take place on Tuesday at 7.30pm in the Parish Rooms.

CROWLAND Christmas lights will be switched on at 5pm on Saturday, December 7, in North Street. Santa will be in his Grotto in the dentist’s waiting room by kind permission of John Hartley. There will be a street fayre from 3.30pm. North Street will be closed from 1pm.

CROWLAND Abbey St Nicholas Craft and Food Fair is on Saturday, December 7, 10am-3pm. Admission 50p. Craft and food items, live music and home made seasonal light refreshments.

Donington

FLINDERS Founders’ Christmas party is on Sunday at the Royal British Legion, Malting Lane, at 2pm. Santa, stalls, tombola and raffle. Entry is £2, under threes free.

Gosberton

GOSBERTON Relief in Need Charity Christmas Gifts will be distributed in the Public Hall on Thursday, December 5, from 10.30am to 1pm. For more details, see Clough and Risegate news.

Gosberton Clough and Risegate

RELIEF in Need Christmas gifts will be distributed at St Gilbert and St Hugh’s Church Hall on Thursday, December 5, from 2pm to 3.30pm. All those who receive the old age pension and living in the Clough and Risegate will qualify. Representatives may collect for anyone unable to attend, but pension proof must be produced . These gifts must be collected between these times , no exceptions will be made.

DON’T FORGET the Christmas fayre at the Methodist Church on Saturday from 1.30pm.

MOBILE library will be at The Five Bells today, 1pm to 1.30pm.

Holbeach

THE Advent Carol Service takes place at All Saints’ Church on Sunday at 6.30pm. There will be a candlelit procession with the combined church choir, singing Advent carols.

Pinchbeck

CHRISTMAS bazaar at the church hall on Saturday from 10am until noon. There will be cakes, preserves, produce, sweets, crafts, tombola, raffle, books and refreshments. Admission free. All proceeds to the church hall fund.

Spalding

NOVEMBER meeting of Spalding Referees’ Association takes place today at 7.30pm at the Spalding Services Club, High Street, PE11 1TX. Guest Speaker is John Mulhall on the topic of careless/reckless and excessive force.

PROBUS Club of Spalding will meet at South Holland Centre next Wednesday, 12.15pm for 12.45pm sitting. The speaker will be June Barton, and her subject will be ‘A year on the marsh’.

BINGO is on Monday at St Paul’s Church Hall, Fulney, at 7.30pm.

CHRISTMAS fayre at St Paul’s Church Hall, Fulney, is on Saturday, December 7, 1-3.30pm. There will be cakes, preserves, tombola, toys, books and much more.

BROAD Street Methodist Church is holding the first of its Christmas fayres on Sunday, 10am-2pm. There will be a number of stalls, including cakes, plants, gifts, toys, preserves and Fairtrade, plus a hamper raffle. Refreshments will be available. The second fayre is on December 7 with special activities for children and at 7.30pm Holbeach Town Band will entertain with a Christmas concert. Tickets for the concert are £6 and can be obtained at the regular Tuesday coffee morning or from 01775 769438 or 07598 386674.
