From Gosberton to Spalding...
GOSBERTON Baptist fun and fellowship afternoon is on Friday from 2pm to 4pm with table games, coffee, tea and cakes. All welcome
LORNA Webb and her team of helpers have two events coming up for the Marie Curie Cancer Care which always attracts a large number of supporters from Gosberton. The first is at Mrs Webb’s home,2 Poachers Gate, Pinchbeck, on Tuesday, July 9 from 10am to noon and will include strawberries and cream, scones and coffee, quiche, pastries, cakes, preserves, vegetables,plants, jewellery and books. There will also be a raffle. Then on the following day, Wednesday, July 10 at Gosberton Parish Church there will be a coffee morning from 10am to noon at which Mrs Webb is a regular helper there will also be strawberries and cream, coffee, scones and a raffle. All proceeds to Marie Curie Cancer Fund.
DIANE Ralph will give a talk on twelve years in the Metropolitan Police at the Gosberton Women’s Institute meeting on Tuesday, July 9 in the Public Hall at 7.15pm
THE mobile library will be in Gosberton on Friday at Field Close at 10am to 11am and Godfrey Avenue from 11.05am to noon.
MEMBERS and friends of the Gosberton Baptist film show group are looking forward to an outing to Barnsdale Gardens on Wednesday, July 3.
Gosberton clough and risegate
GOSBERTON Risegate Methodist garden fete is at the home of Tony and Jane Harrison, 24 Siltside, Gosberton Risegate, on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm. Usual stalls and competitions. Proceeds to be divided between the Risegate Methodist and Macmillan Cancer Support.
THE mobile library will be in Gosberton Risegate at the Five Bells on Thursday, July 11 from 1pm to 1.30pm.
ANNUAL meeting of the William Snarey Trust will take place in the Reading Rooms, Church Street, on Monday, July 1, at 6pm.
HOLBEACH Seniors’ Link meet at the WI Hall, Park Road on July 10.
THE Methodist Chuch summer fayre is on Saturday, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Stalls, games, raffle, refreshments.
OASIS Club meets on Saturday from 10am to 11.30am in the Reading Rooms, Church Street. Plenty of fun, games, stories, drama and music and it’s all free for primary school age children.
LONG Sutton Baptist Church lunches will be served on Friday, June 28, from 11am to 1.30pm.

FRIENDS of Long Sutton CP School will be holding their annual summer fayre on Saturday, from 12pm to 3pm, at the school. Barbecue refreshments, raffle, tombola, bouncy castle and many other stalls. Display of vehicles, plus gymnastics and Zumba displays in the arena as well as ‘It’s a Knockout!’ competition for the adults. Super afternoon entertainment for the whole family.

RIPPINGALE and District Women’s Institute has a strawberry afternoon tea, on Sunday, July 7, 2.30-4.30pm at Kirkby Underwood Village Hall. Tickets £5.
