From Crowland to Whaplode Drove
SATURDAY Strollers will start their walk at Castor on Saturday. The walk is about five miles and follows the river for a while which can be muddy. Meet at the former St Guthlac School by 10.25am. Wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather, and bring a picnic lunch.

GOSBERTON Methodist junior church now meets on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 10.30am.
EVERY Thursday there is a pop-in at the chapel from 9.30am to 11.30am for coffee and chat.
ON Thursdays at 3pm people can go to the Methodist Church for an hour of peace or to talk to someone if required.
GOSBERTON Churches Together study group meets in the Methodist Church on the second Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm and is currently studying the Lord’s Prayer.
GOSBERTON House School thanks those who have supported the recycling by taking along unwanted clothing, shoes, material etc. The school also welcomes supermarket vouchers which will be used to buy new equipment. The school has been awarded the UNICEF Rights Respect in Schools Level 1 Award, whichteaches children about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and how to respect other people’s rights.
GOSBERTON Baptist fun and fellowship on a Friday is next held on May 31 from 2pm to 4pm with table games, coffee, tea and cakes.

SPALDING Ramblers will lead a walk on Sunday around Burton le Coggles, which is north of the A151 near Corby Glen. The eight-mile walk starts at 10am from behind the church. Further details from the walk leader on 01775 768359.

SPALDING East Townswomens Guild will meet on Tuesday at the boys’ library of the Sir John Gleed School at 7 pm. The speaker is Jen Hemingway speaking of her travels in India and the competition is for a bangle. If you would like to join us you are very welcome.
