NETWORK Ladies Group is meeting in the Methodist Chapel at 2.30pm for an afternoon of handicrafts, fellowship and a cup of tea. The cost of the afternoon is £1 with half going to the chapel and the other half to a chosen charity.

GOSBERTON Baptists have a flower, craft and harvest festival on Friday through to Sunday. The church opens at 10am to 4.30pm on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday morning coffee is served at 10am followed by the morning service at 10.30am and then the church is open for viewing from 2pm to 4.30pm. Gosberton Clough and Risegate
MANY residents of the Gosberton Clough and Risegate are regular attenders at the coffee mornings organised by Lorna Webb and her team of helpers, and will be interested to learn that they are taking part in Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. The first event will be at Mrs Webb’s home, 2 Poachers Gate, Pinchbeck, on Tuesday, September 25, 10am-noon and together with the coffee and scone or bun. There will be a cake stall and a raffle. A continuation will be in Gosberton Church Hall on September 26, 10am-noon, where the usual weekly coffee morning at which Mrs Webb is a regular helper will be in aid of the Macmillan. Again coffee and scones will be served and there will be a raffle. Also there will be a bring and buy stall.
GOSBERTON Risegate harvest is on Sunday at 2.30pm followed by tea and continues on Monday at 7pm with auction of harvest produce and supper.

THE agenda of the meeting on September 5 of the Senior Club has changed. Jennie Storr, who was due to give a talk on ‘grumpy people’, is unable to attend due to unexpected family reasons. Due to the relatively short notice the afternoon’s programme will be replaced by games.
WEST Pinchbeck village show is being held on Saturday in the village hall. There are various classes for adults (including men) and children, ranging from fruit and vegetables, flowers, cookery and crafts. Exhibits should be taken to the hall between 9.30am and noon. One entry per person per class, cost is 20p per item entered. Doors open to the public at 3.30pm – 5pm. Presentation of prizes at 4.30pm.
COMMUNITY Choir begins again on Monday, 7–8.30pm in the church porch. The choir will meet every week this term and new members of any age or ability are welcome to join. There is no audition or solo singing. Would regular members please bring all of their music and words this term.
