Derelict building goes up in flames at Fleet

Fire officers are trying to find out what caused a blaze at a derelict house in Fleet on Sunday.

Crews from Long Sutton, Holbeach and Spalding went to Little Marsh Lane just after 5pm and used two water hose reels to put out the blaze.

A lounge and bedroom were damaged but the cause of the blaze is as yet unknown.

Meanwhile, a tractor driver was helped from his vehicle after a crash in Gosberton Road, Surfleet, on Friday.

It happened at about 3pm, with crews from Spalding and Donington called out to the crash.

Firefighters used specialist tools to get inside the tractor and free the driver.
