Farmer Nicholas Watts, whose donations to The Wildlife Trusts from the sale of bird seed topped £1million last year, leads the way in wildlife-friendly farming.

He grows more than 400 acres of seeds for birds as well as being the largest grower of sunflowers in the UK. He attracts birds to the farm through his winter feeding initiatives and conservation measures.

Nicholas is leading tours of two to three hours starting at 10am, and visitors will travel in their own vehicles.

Tours are £5 per person and must be booked in advance on 01775 630208.
