Have your say

You may think complicated hoola hoop patterns looks impressive, but you should have seen the 8ft rocket these children at Deeping St James Methodist Church made earlier.

About a dozen youngsters took part in this year’s holiday club, something the minister, the Rev Ann Bossington, and her assistant husband, the rev Mike Bossington, like to do each year.

However, this year’s, mainly organised by church member Elaine Gregson, was called Space Academy, and Elaine’s husband Mike said: “Half the time was spent making an eight foot rocket out of cardboard and other materials. No attempt was made to launch it.”
