Three heavy horses owned by Tom Henfrey at Deeping High Bank have been judged Britain’s top team of 2014.
Now members of the public can meet the horses – Cole, Casey and Atlas – at the open day to be held at Gull Farm on Saturday (10am onwards).
Tom entered the single pair and team in the Heavy Horse Turnout Society Championships, winning with the team as well as the driving championship.
He said: “It’s actually the pinnacle of the year and it’s the third time we’ve done it.”
There will be talks, driven displays and demonstrations with heavy horses, and Percherons, Shires and Suffolks on display, in addition to farm yard animals, vintage vehicles and food and drink.
Entry is £5 per car, which goes to the British Percheron Horse Society .
