A DEDICATED care home manager from Market Deeping has picked up a national award for her charity service.

Jacqui Jones earned an Exceptional Contribution award from deafblind charity Sense for commitment to managing a number of residential homes across the country.

Jacqui was also praised for her flexibility, skill and dedication whilst working at Sense homes.

She said: “I’m delighted to have won this award, it means a lot. I feel very honoured to be able to work with the deafblind residents and the staff in Sense residential homes.”

The award ceremony took place in London last Tuesday, hosted by director and TV personality Arlene Phillips.
