Some 186 pupils from seven schools across the region descended on the South Holland Centre in Spalding on Tuesday to show off the dance work they have been doing in school.

The event, run by School Games organiser Rupert Gibson, is an annual showcase open to all primary and secondary schools in the area.

Rupert said: “The venue offers a wonderful experience for pupils to perform on a big stage, with lighting and sound, to a large audience.

“All the performances were fantastic and the children came off stage delighted.”

Judges from U.Dance were in attendance to add their tips and advice and also to pick a primary and secondary group to go forward to a county competition. Baston Primary and The Sir John Gleed School were chosen.
