Doreen Hewitt and her son Graham have organised their second Dambuster concert at Spalding Parish Church on Saturday (7pm).
Kirton Brass Band will be performing at the event to raise funds for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
The Hewitt family raised £400 last year, their efforts prompted by an interest in the Battle of Britain and the Lancaster – and because Doreen’s father-in-law Edgar, a wireless operator and front gunner, was killed in the war.
Doreen said: “It costs a lot of money to get these planes up and running. All proceeds will go to help with maintenance and keep the aircraft in the air.”
Entry is £5 and there will be light refreshments and a raffle.
